Care
Care
Sterling silver develops a natural patina over time. This is normal and can be reversed with a soft silver polishing cloth.
Shiny and brushed finishes:Â buff gently with a polishing cloth to restore the original finish.
Oxidised finish:Â the darkened finish may lighten slightly with regular wear. Buff lightly along the raised surfaces only - avoid polishing the recessed areas, which will remove the oxidisation and change the character of the piece.
Avoid prolonged exposure to chlorine, cleaning chemicals, perfume and hairspray, as these will accelerate tarnishing and could damage the sterling silver.
