FAQ


RING SIZES

I take orders in two common ring sizing systems:
  • the UK/Australian system, which uses the alphabet, eg size N, N1/2, O etc
  • the US system, which uses numbers, eg size 6.5, 7, 7.5 etc
My online store gives ring size options in US sizes, simply because the majority of my online customers are in the United States. If you know your UK/Australian ring size, please select the option "Other - will advise" and leave me a note during checkout with your size.

If you do not know your ring size, a local jeweller should measure your finger free of charge.

Please ensure that if you are purchasing a wide ring, you ask them to measure your wide ring size as most people require a slightly larger size for wide bands.

CUFF BRACELET SIZES

Cuff bracelets are designed to sit loosely on the wrist. To determine your cuff bracelet size, please measure your wrist where the cuff bracelet will sit. This will be the length of the silver and the size you should order.
There will also be a gap of approximately 1", and this additional inch will ensure the bangle does not sit tightly against your wrist.
If you would prefer a tight fit, most people find that ordering the size 1/2" shorter suffices.

CURRENCIES

Prices are set in Australian dollars but the shopping cart allows customers to view prices in a selection of currencies using current xe.com exchange rates. At checkout, the prices revert to Australian dollars.

SHIPPING

I ship via Australia Post unless a customer requests otherwise. I have a production time of approximately 2 weeks, after which your jewellery will be shipped by your selected method.
Australia
Standard delivery is via Parcel Post or Small Letter, depending on the size of your item. Delivery times vary by location but are generally 4-6 business days.
Express Post is also available if you need to receive your item more quickly.
International
Standard delivery is via Australia Post Economy Air. Estimated delivery time for most countries is approximately 2-3 weeks but this can vary depending on how long your parcel is delayed in customs. International tracking from Australia is quite expensive and is not included in the Economy Air rate. It is available as a shipping option for international customers.
International Express Post
If you need your item quickly, please feel free to contact me to arrange shipping by international express post. 
Canada
International shipping to Canada is currently very slow and on average seems to take approximately 5 weeks.

IMPORT TAXES & VAT

Import duties, VAT etc are the responsibility of the customer.

UK customers, please be aware that you will be required to pay VAT plus a handling fee upon delivery. This fee is the customer's responsibility. It is not possible for me to collect and pay this on your behalf.

REFUNDS & EXCHANGES


RETURNS

As most of our items are made to order in your chosen size, refunds for change of mind are not possible. In some instances - depending on the item, size and the likelihood that it will sell again - exchanges might be possible.

Our policy lasts 14 days. If 14 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you an exchange.

To be eligible for an exchange, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

Several types of goods are exempt from being exchanged:

Earrings
Gift cards
Personalised items
Custom sizes. Ring sizes smaller than US size 7 and larger than US size 10 are considered custom sizes. Bracelet sizes smaller than 6" and larger than 7" are considered custom sizes. Custom sizes can be exchanged for an additional fee.

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.


EXCHANGES 

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your exchange.

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at rebecca@rebeccacordingleydesigns.com and send your item to: Rebecca Cordingley, c/o 10 Cranwell St, Glenside SA 5065, Australia.

SHIPPING

To return your product, you should mail your product to: Rebecca Cordingley, 10 Cranwell St, Glenside SA 5065, Australia

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item and posting the new item.

Depending on where you live, the time it takes for your exchanged product to reach you will vary.

If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We cannot guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

RESIZING

Please select your size carefully when ordering. Some of my items can be resized but some have to be completely recreated in the new size.

Please contact me before returning a ring or bracelet and I will let you know how much the resizing will cost. Prices range from AU$10 for a simple stacking ring to 75% of the total cost for items that have to be recreated from scratch.

Feel free to contact me before ordering if you would like an estimate of the resizing fee for your item.
